Landscaping Design

We wanted to take the advantage of the afternoon shades of the backyard since it's facing mostly east. It's especially nice during that time for kids to play outside in the summer. Some ideas about the patio and landscaping:

• Patio materials - fossil creek, grayish color and patterned style.

• Side walk/ gate entrance - gravels and pavers.

• Plants - magnolias and pineapple guava trees. (Mountain laurel was replaced with magnolia due to shortage post winter freeze a few months ago)

• Boundary - river gravels 1-3in.
