Chinese New Year Flower Arrangement

This year I got a week ahead of CNY to Trader Joe’s and I bought three bunches of pussy willow & pom-pom craspedia flowers. Thought to bring gold and silver as a symbol of fortune to the family.

This time I learned that no water for the willow for keeping it longer (for years) but how could I mix the pompoms within? I used a smaller glass container in a big glass vase…. Vola it worked!

With some decorative rocks to hold the willow and the pompom glass container in the middle, I’m happy with the overall presentation.

Two days before Chinese New Year's Eve, we've had the final center piece settings.
